Telkom network coverage - still sharing with MTN?

Our whole family migrated to Telkom last year because of the great packages, and generally reception was not bad. Lately have noticed huge drop off in coverage, with either poor or no reception. Have also noticed that MTN no longer comes up on the screen as an alternative netwrok to Telkom, are they no longer sharing?

I have no issue roaming on MTN. Check that you have not disabled roaming as I know this will stop it working.
Sometimes to stop it from switching I force it to MTN.

It's seems that the roaming on MTN could possibly coming to an end.
I have noticed lately the signal on locked MTN roaming is not that great any longer, it tends to drop all the way down where i previously had full bars.

It also takes much longer before if will lock to mtn when doing a network search. Iphone user.

Still too many places with ZERO TM coverage. MTN roaming is a requirement!
