I've been on the Home Office 20GB (Now known as smart broadband) package for the past 1.5 years which comes with 20GB night data which I have been getting and using every month.
In February, I assumed I got my night data and set downloads to start after midnight, a few days later, noticed that I did not get night data and almost depleted my cap.
Contacted a Telkom chat agent who first said that my plan never came with night data and then changed his story to it being a promotion that ended on 1st Feb.
I got my night data a few days later...
This month, I once again have not received night data.
Contact a chat agent again who told me that I should be getting night data and did for this month but have already depleted it.
Asked for proof and she sent me this...
I've added a sum of the column "Actual Volume" which equates to 9524291581 bytes or +- 9.5GB.
You will also see that the data usage she sent me was total used and not just night data.
So with a total usage for the month of 9.5GB, I managed to use up all my 20GB night data?
Right...
She ended the chat after sending the usage sheet.
Contacted Telkom on Facebook and now I once again get told that my package does not get night data.
WTF????
And as we all know, getting someone from Telkom to assist and who actually knows what they are talking about is not an easy task.
