So every time I try and pay online it just keeps telling me it's processing, and nothing happens. I had this last month as well and then eventually when it worked I was fined because the payment was late.

How stupid are they? They make Billions a year but don't have a EFT that works.

Well I took a screenshot of it processing so will wait for them to fine me again.

Any advice appreciated.

Keep dialling 10217 option 3 and it keeps disconnecting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@Moggie - so what you gonna do, just leave it?

It's easier and much better to set up Telkom as a benificiary on your Internet Banking profile. You just need to phone 10217 or 10219 and ask them what beneficiary reference to use (I think it is your account number, but phone to make sure).

Telkom should be listed as a Public Beneficiary/Company on Internet Banking. I've been making payments like this for the last 6 months with no problem - I'm currently with FNB, and was previously with Standard Bank, and it worked fine on both.

They changed their billing systems, my account was under my ID but the account number under my Dad's ID, so it blocked me entirely. Was a mission and a half to get it right again.

Another option is to use http://www.easypay.co.za/ for Telkom, municipal accounts (NB: not all municipalities) SABC-TV etc.

The payment is charged to your credit card, thereby scoring an extra month's credit :) (depending upon credit card payment cycles)

And if the credit card is linked to a loyalty programme (e.g. Voyager / BA/ etc) you also earn points !

still having problems with Telkom online payment... don't wanna register on another site with my credit card details and have them available to more "people".

Just spoke to BARBARA in Credit card account department who is probably the rudest customer service I have ever dealt with, told me it's not their problem and should speak to someone else.

i am trying to do this, but damn that its still processing as i write this...
