Telkom planning to acquire BCX

probably a very good move on Telkom's part but they'll need to get things right for this to actually work
 
Unions are going to have a field trip with this...

Telkom: Sorry, but we have to let you go because we are not making money.

A few days later.

Telkom: We are buying BCX for massive amounts of money!

Unions are really going to fight this. BTW What will happen to BCX staff? Poor white manager in BCX could be offered a package if this goes through...

also I think Telkom has addressed a lot of other competition issues. It is very difficult to ask the Competition Tribunal to approve a large merger when there is an ongoing conflict concerning anti-competitive behaviour. And again this is why I cannot for the life of me understand why Vodacom isn't driving the process of removing all problems with Call Termination Rates before it becomes a competition matter
 
No doubt that Telkom will apply their merde, sorry "magic" touch to BCX just like they did with MWEB Africa, Multi-Links, Africa Online, Telkom Media, Telkom Management Services over the past few years.

If it is not connected with copper, preferably with a "Nommer asseblief" tannie at the other end of it, Telkom can't manage it.
