I had to laugh today out of sheer exasperation. I rang Telkom to log a fault about slow DSL this week and severe latency + some disconnects (unusual for me).
Instead of noting the complaint and giving me a reference number, the operator tried to transfer me to the sales department to sell me a faster line.
I politely requested he call a supervisor whereupon he briskly cut me off.
Apparently they've now also chopped the complaints line and you have to write in instead.
Dumb and dumber imho.
