Telkom regularly refreshing sim data

do you think its because of their bad network coverage that this happens to some?

What bad network coverage?
They've got great network coverage.

I haven't been in any place the last few years that didn't have Telkom network coverage.
 
I've found in welkom that isn't great. However in Bloemfontein it is awesome

I can vouch for Mpumalanga.
Never had any non-network coverage in the areas I've been.

Welkom might be a work in progress.
 
Telkom is absolutely kak, I never have any reasonable coverage and I live in the city
 
Having the same issue Galaxy S10+ also Telkom Roaming. Also, cannot receive ABSA's Verified by Visa OTP for onlice cc purchases. Need to have roaming as i stay in a small cell coverage hole. At least with Telkom latching onto any network, i get to make & receive calls on whatever network, depending on which way the wind blows...
 
I have been using an antiquated mobile for some time and have just recently switched to a pretty decent Samsung model. And I'm now finding this "refreshing sim data" coming up on my cellphone.
I'm also thinking it could be our area that I'm seeing this.

Also getting this issue. Noticed it happening a lot now.

Any solution or idea of what causes it?
