How are you sending email? For example, are you using Mimecast?

We have had some discussions in the past with Mimecast, and they wanted special treatment, to have some directory harvesting protections relaxed just for them which we don't relax for anyone at present. They weren't able to prove that they were preventing directory harvesting attacks.

Please contact your email service provider, and have them contact the Telkom Internet email team.

Who is this Telkom internet email team you speak of? Kindly post the details here or PM me. We also have had our fair share of problems relaying mail to telkomsa addresses. You block mails left right and center and trying to get hold of the right department or person is a pain.

I have the same issue sending mail's through Mimecast to telkomsa.net.

I had another issue that I contacted Mimecast about and it could be tied to the thing. The issue I had was on a mail recipients server doing a SPF check and seeing the Mimecast IP's not being on our domain's dns records, so when it does a look up it appears to be coming from an ip not related to our domain. We've got to add some records to dns to solve it.

I'm not 100% that they are related, but both of these two issues started at the same time. This week when we've been sending to these addresses for months without issue.

Best is to contact Mimecast and chat to them, they'll sort it for you fast or point you in the right direction. Certainly a lost faster than telkom ever could.

I don't see why you think this is something that Telkom should be sorting out. Mimecast should have made sure up front that you updated your SPF records to include theirs before letting you send through their servers.

Maybe you are referring to some other issue, but we don't just take technicians out of their bakkies and make them email admins.
