Hey guys need help real quick, if I have my router in pppoe mode and my connection is perma done by the router and not windows can my friend share this connection via bridge mode with another router, or will it disconnect the bridge if im running pppoe, do we both need to run bridge, thanks acc is saix.

You can only have one router connected to a phone line. If the router is in bridge mode each user will be able to "dial" up via a pppoe connection using a different ISP.

All depends what Telkom router you have...
I know thw 5102G can do PPPoE and bridge at the same time but i am not sure about the Mega range...

You cannot connect 2 routers to one line.

Let me be precise

I have 2 routers, 2 lines, wish to share an account for downloading. My friend runs his accounts in bridge mode as he has many of them, I run mine off PPPOE if we share an account do we need to both be in bridge or can one stay PPPOE and the other say bridge? Will PPPOE force the bridge computer to disconnect from account?

Thanks

I think you are making things too complicated. How you connect is not of importence.

As long as the account allows more than one simultaneous connection (find out from ISP) then both you and your friend can set up a pppoe on their own PC for that account and make use of it.
