Telkom S5 LTE CPT?

Hey guys

I just joined this forum because i need some questions answered:erm:

I recently got me a Telkommobile sim to use with my S5, switching over from vodacom. I immediately bought me the 2gb+1gb data bundle, but i cant seem to get on the LTE network? Even tho i am in LTE coverage on their site

Yesterday i researched more, and found that telkoms LTE spectrum is 2300mhz, i checked on gsmarena and the s5 doesnt support 2300 but 2100 and 2600:erm::erm:

So does this mean i wont be able to pick up LTE lol?

I also have a Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE phone, but Telkom uses 2300 Mhz, while the S5 LTE phone supports the 2100 and 2600 bands.

Best you'll get is HSPA+, which is very good. I get 15Mbps where I live.

*Think I saw that the Sony Z3 Compact supports the 2300 band.

HSPA+ is H+ on the s5 correct? How are you getting those speeds lol?
I ran 2 speedtests to show u what im getting.

Normally a bit slower at night time, as the whole country is on the internet. Still, respectable speed.
