Telkom Speed Upgrade

About Three years ago I signed a contract with Telkom.

Then they "lost" it and MADE me sign another one, under the threat of taking away my "R2000.00" router... so I did and it was finaly expired WOOOHOOO

so I want to upgrade to 4mbps, is there any way to do this other than going to the shop??

also am I now on month 2 month ??

you can phone and tell them to upgrade your line and only line rental so that you have 4mbps and use a different isp i think??? but why not check for neotel coverage as uncapped is cheaper from them because uncapped 4mbps for adsl is about R4500++

Did he say wanted an uncapped line?

Did Telscumrottengutspieceofdogponguglyfungdong threaten to take your router?

They should try that with me, I'll sue them to kingdom come.

Phone accounts department (I think it's 10219 or 10217) and find out if you are on contract.

Phone 0800 375 375 to have the line upgraded.

I'm pretty sure you could have upgraded your line speed before your contract expired...

4mbps or any line speed increase isn't a "physical" installation, but rather a change of profile if you meet the requirements, good distance from the exchange and fairly good cabling

Should work, I know feo has one and he has 4mbps don't know if he has the WR2 however, but it should work.

yeah, i quickly learned not to exspect anything, else you'll just set yourself up for dissapointment
