My line is still as sh*t as ever though
I phoned to ask them to put me on a ADSL2+ exchange to see if it would help, but they said there are none even though im in a VDSL area... Telkom for the win!

I am 10 Mbps enabled now, but still syncing on 4 Mbps View attachment 81595

Telkom still says my line is max 4Mbps even though I've had 20Mbps VDSL for the past 4 months.

Not complaining though, I'm extremely happy with my line at present.

Well me too.....

It was always 4Mbps max speed and 4Mbps service that I had on the check but changed now to.....

Now its saying 4Mbps max speed but I have 10Mbps service.... Still syncing @ 4096k though....

I've asked several of my connections about this and there is no real "correct" answer. The most probable is that there is usually more than one DSLAM per exchange and they reflect the slowest one's details.

Had a quick look at my router this morning and I am still syncing at 4mbps. The Telkom ADSL checker shows a change to 10mbps. Let's hope they will do the actual change at the DSLAM tomorrow.

I phoned Telkom, they said they are starting with the 4 to 10mb upgrades today and the 2 to 4mb only on the 18th.

I have a 2mb account, so will be waiting another week...

Thanks. I guess I have to wait at least 3 weeks then since I'm on 1Mbps. As long as it's this month I'll be happy

I am not sure about the 1mb lines, but FYI, he said the 2mb upgrade time is from the 18th of Nov to the 23rd of Dec...

Hope they finish before that!
