Telkom steals money

I've had retalively decent internet using the 8ta internet 5 bundle. Got it in Feb. Obviously paid the activation fee and such and the cost for Feb. So now at the end of March I had to make my first payment for the month of March. Since Telkom has my banking details they just withdrew the money directly from my account. So got a message this morning saying I paid R560 to Telkom. This is now the R199 that I had to pay for March. R560!!!! That's almost three months worth of payment. So basically they are stealling R360 from me. And I have no hope of getting it back since it's Telkom. And what's going to happen next month? R1000?

Just so you guys know if you ever think about getting this piece of **** 3g.
 
did you go over your allowed usage? wireless stuff like 3G usually doesn't hard capped if you're on a contract
 
Prepaid is best. Once it is gone, it is gone. Telkom now have this R1800 offer for 12 months. And the SIM is free if you get it from a Telkom Direct shop. Altech Autopage tried to charge my friend R200 for the SIM and activation, except there is no activation, you do it yourself when you have bought R1800 airtime. The instructions are on the sleeve. They refused to call 8ta's data call centre to verify this, so he walked out the shop.
 
Nope, definitely didn't go over the allowed usage. And I don't think it has a auto top-up feature. On the 8ta website you can buy more airtime if you go over

It seems as if the pro-rata charges have been debited. Please PM or email us your contact and 8ta number so we can explain the bill to you and if we pick up any irregularities, we will happily reimburse the money along with an apology.
