Telkom still negotiating

Telkom has yesterday issued a further cautionary announcement regarding the non binding proposal by Vodafone to acquire a portion of Telkom's stake in Vodacom.

“In fulfilling its fiduciary responsibilities, the Telkom Board is committed to concluding these discussions expeditiously.”

I reckon the board is wanting only to serve their own interests. Cashing in before the beast becomes stale. Oh wait, it already is - the smell has been lingering for all this time...

So if "expeditiously" means a couple of months - wich it what it has been taking up till now, how long does it take normally then when it is not " expeditiously" ?
