I noticed on my Telkom cellphone bill last month that it's R68 more than normal. I gave them a call, and the agent said a service was added to my account, but he's removing it. Since it's Telkom, I knew it wasn't going to be as simple as that, so I asked for a reference number, which he was going to SMS, but I never received anything.
Then I tried the online help chat as well, but the woman said there's a password on my account (apparently added 6 years ago, which I can't remember), so she can't assist me without it. I asked her how was a service then added to my account without the password, but she never responded, instead she called me on my cell number. I again asked her how was the service added to my account without having the password, but I was then disconnected.
So now it's going to take ages again just to get this sorted out. I was just wondering if anyone else had the same service or amount added to their accounts? Most people will probably not even notice it.
