Poor Service From Telkom

Telkom Oh Telkom

I decided to go back to Telkom ADSL after hearing the Service has improved and that they have pick up their game, but allas was i mistaken. I signed up and was informed they would be at my place today Thursday, so i took off work to wait for them. 16H30 i went on the site to track my order and this is what i get "Order Reference does not exist" so i called in to ask for an update (AS NO ONE HAS CONTACTED ME!!!!!) this is the info i got out of the agent is sorry technician found a fault and handed it over to the cabling department. when i asked the agent can i get a time or will some one call me i get don't know they will call you when done. i just gave up and said good bye

NOW TELKOM IS THIS THE SERVICE YOU GIVE NEW CLIENTS !!!!!!! i can truly say if this is the begging i won't stay around with you.

Have to admit, until recently I have had no issues.

The only incident I had was when one of their technicians worked on our lines and somehow got the lines crossed. I was calling everyday to get answers. It took 3 weeks to resolve the issue.
The above includes various technicians allocated and removed for no reason.

this is exactly what I am sitting with at the moment however mine has been over a month and still not resolved.

My in-laws living in the Western Cape had to call their Telkom guys to assist. After this I got some response.

So called you guys again, and got and escalation Ref and was promised some one would call me in 4 hour due to what have been threw. Please take a guess how this turned out ?? ............... exactly still waiting a week later.
I understand there are sometime issue that come up, but then communicate it.

Its amazing all i want is to be your customer and pay you for a service, i not asking for the world !!!
You say its cable issue, then how is it that next door has ADSL !!!

This has really become more then a joke !!!!!!!!

This hasn't been the first time people complain about Telkom Mobile. It was so much better when they were under the 8ta brand

Then I phoned 080 TEL BILL and MAHLOMOLA said 10210 must do the change.
Victor at 10210 sent me back to 080 TEL BILL where ZEE finally changed
the address for me after 12 minutes

I would recommend deleting the post immediately. Don't give out personal information such as mobile phone, email etc.
