the good news is that Telkom aren't an ISPA member and thus far all complaints concerning Telkom that I have had to deal with have been properly resolved by Telkom on the mere filing with ICASA.

I was about to cancel my uncapped account but they offered me a discount if i agree to a 1 year conract. Now I'm worried I'll be locked into this crappy FUP.

4megs line and Data.

I just got throttled on a 4Meg line after only 199 Gigs!!

Haha we've all been downloading too much. We got throttled a couple of days ago too. Is there some sort of business package that doesn't have a limit? Perhaps from another ISP?

Uncapped does not normaly Softcap .Throttled yes .
You could still be on a 2meg data .
Check your profile with Telkom.

I've gone from 400KB/s to 40KB/s. Thankfully it's the last day of the month, back to normal tomorrow.
