Good people,

I'd be grateful if someone could perhaps point me to a previous post that dealt with this...or maybe just provide me with some short helpful answers. I have the fixed Telkom uncapped service, but they are busy rolling out fibre in my complex and I would like to take that up. My question is: Can I use my LTE wifi router elsewhere (and not incur any additional costs)? I think I read somewhere that Telkom says 'no', but then...can it be done? Will it work?

Thank you...

Its been mentioned in a few other threads but basically it works wherever Telkom LTE coverage exists. I am based in Pretoria but have used the LTE router in Durban, Bloemfontein (sketchy coverage), Cape Town and in between.

Yes works anywhere Telkom has LTE coverage. So both 1800MHz LTE which does not show up on the map btw and 2300MHz coverage. No roaming though and if it's a capped LTE contract 3G on Telkom network is also available to you if the uncapped LTE then you only have access to the Telkom LTE network.
