Telkom is playing coy with what it plans to charge TelkomInternet customers to use its very-high-bitrate DSL pilot services

Telkom Group CEO, Nombulelo “Pinky” Moholi, said in a press briefing ahead of their SATNAC event held in George this year (2012) that part of the trial was to test the cost assumptions they had made.

Right look at it this way.

upto 1mbps = R167 (R167 per megabit)
upto 2mbps = R299 (R149.50 per megabit)
upto 4/10mbps = R425 (R106.25 per megabit / R42.50 per megabit)

From figures above:
upto 20mbps = R850 (R42.50 per megabit)
upto 40mbps = R1700 (R42.50 per megabit)
