When u guys announced certain corporate products to be available, I contacted you to let me know what when and where, and never got any reply. Up to then I was singing your praises, since I think you could do wonders for our company. And +-R20 000 or more a month of communications is not to be sneered at. But no reply. Since then there has been cable theft. Twice in fact. And both times it was repaired in 4 hours or less. Even Telkom sees the sense in that. Look after big clients. Keep big clients. And where did you ever see Telkom jump? They do, when they know it's worth it.

There is your challenge, Neotel. I wish you all the best.

I regret that I have to strongly disagree with you, in particular I disagree with your assertion that NeoGhost has coverage over large parts of Johannesburg.

It is however encouraging to see that I now have "Fair" coverage where I previously had "Not Covered", but there have also been reports from forumites that such coverage evaporates almost hourly...:rolleyes:

Please could you explain why there is a ZAR399.00 installation fee for a wireless service that requires no copper wires for transmitting and receiving.

If NeoGhost's purpose is to be a wireless clone of Telkodemonopolies, then it is likely to receive a lot of resistance from consumers who are sick and tired of being ass-imilated by Telkodemonopolies and its abuse of its monopoly.

Closer

I spend about 3 hours on the phone in the evenings and more on weekends. That's over 100 hours a month. Monthly bill = R161 with Telkom Closer2. I'm never at home during peak times.

On Neotel my bill would be: 0.33x60x100=R1980+R173.10=R2153.10

Not much of a saving....hmmm:sick:
 
I just don't like the fact that Neotel to Neotel national calls are more expensive than Neotel to Telkom WTF? :confused:

Regional Calls
Off-Peak: Neotel to Neotel = 0.33 but Neotel to Telkom = 0.29

For now... yes.. cast ur gaze back to when Telkom ADSL started in SA it was unlimited too...... than they realized they can make much more .....and so it got CAPPED

Its clear that Neotel has discovered holy grail of making a profit... its like paying a cover charge to drop into a club.... which gets you glass of tap water.....

Also being disappointed in the Neoflex Data pricing released last month, I must however congratulate Neoflex for having fair coverage in my area.

I say this, because I have been waiting almost 2 years for ADSL in my area, that after Telkom confirmed that my area is ADSL ready and them phoning me to tell me to ahead and do my self-install.

I know that 80+ peeps in my suburb were waiting for ADSL, which means they can now make the choice and take up other options. I spoke to 2 Telkom techies yesterday working on a box across the street and they confirmed that I will still have to wait a while for ADSL and that they are also struggling to supply telephone services to the ever growing suburb. Neotel now offers that service that Telkom can't, so that one up for them.
 
what is interesting is how Vodacon and MTN can offer 2 gig data bundles at just the same price as telkom adsl + Line rental...

No one is going to undercut the competition. They are all here to rip us off. Even More competition won't save us.


Realise this when you make your decision to sign up to an internet provider. Only by staying with prepaid will we force them to become competative.
