Any else changed over to telkom wireless land line recently, they phoned me about a month back told me if I change over now they will give me a free phone worth more then a R1000 free delivery, more then 2 weeks now my sim hasn't been activated, they made me run around, phone in dunno how many times still sim not activated, now I get statement for end of Nov I see a charge for R1199 for the phone, I got no landline plus now they want to charge me for the device, I did phone accounts to stop the charge but God knows if it will happen. What can I do?

Yes they doing that now.
When you receive the phone, the sim doesn't work. It was saying Invalid Sim. After a lot of calls to Telkom someone finally activated it, all I had to do was reboot the phone and it started working.
I need to actually check if they charged for the phone, because I was under the impression it was free as the letter stated.
