I have been trying to get a new Telkom phone the wireless one. I received a sim card, but no phone that was in November 2018 and still waiting. My phone line was cut at the same time so pay for service without a phone. Contacted Telkom by Facebook and Twitter always getting back to me, I like a landline and if I new this would happen wouldn't have asked for one and refuse to phone them will cost a lot using a cell phone.

sim card will work in a cellphone.
Try it and if not working you will have to go into the store. Could take another 2 to infinity days to resolve.
