TelkomInternet "Uncapped" Glitch?

ROFL at u guys!Enjoy while it last. We could do it 2 a while back with iBurst...aaaaa the good old times!
 
yeah I know my brother did with iburst when he still had it but there is still ways around it with rapidshare. there is a guy that downloads around 200GB a month on iburst with a single 9gb account or something like that
 
Is anyone raping this 'Free Bandwith" ? I am lol, fine print states local only will be charged. Im on 23GB atm

A few years ago when I was in England, I dwelt in the high-bandwidth circles. There were guys on the then-dc++ networks who copied back and forth from each other, just to use bandwidth. No idea why they did that, but they do.
Maybe one day we'll be able to do that as well!
 
Hwzit guys what speeds are you getting?, I have a 384 line yesterday I was getting around 36KB, today its not going over 25KB, anyone else experiencing this?

I logged on to the router and I noticed that the line speed has dropped to 256/128..
 
Guys do you think this has anything to do with testing of the Seacom Cable?
 
I posted a link earlier stating that we have hit the 200gb mark on a 4gb account they must not fix it cos I am loving it at the moment
 
Yep. Speed has dipped a bit since last night. Then again, I'm still loving it. :p A 4meg line would be rather nice now, mind you.
 
^ I'm thinking the same. Can't be a "glitch" as it's way too widespread and judging by the usage, they are well aware of it.

At any rate, enjoy the experience while it lasts. :P
 
I heard it was to do with the cable break. It was either leave the cable break and allow the bandwith monitors to run or fix the cable break and turn the bandwith monitors off. Lots of chaos at Telkom atm.

Anyway, I'm abusing still. On 300% usage. Good thing the fine print only makes reference to local and not blended!
 
Same here.
Found another 11Gb of stuff to pull.
31Gb on Telkom
27Gb on Webafrica Local only.

Great thing(and main reason I got it) about my 4mb line is I don't have to keep my laptop running 24/7 to download the stuff.
Just wish non-cached stuff on IS would download quicker. SAIX FTW.
