Glad you took 2 minutes to troll this thread in stead of going somewhere else and be useful.
To answer your question, I cancelled mine after struggling with signal for a month.
To clarrify, I signed the contract and a month later I had it cancelled because the 8ta shop rep advised me that I'm in a "perfect" signal area and I clearly was not. Read all about my experience here. It's probably individual to each case. I'd PM the 8ta rep and find out about yours.
I had an ADSL line installed last Friday.
Thanks for linking me to that thread, it helped a lot. I'm busy collecting forum posts and email / phone records but I'll have a talk with the 8ta rep.

You don't have time to read your contract Ts and C's (One page of small print?) but you have time for the above?
