Hi Desraid

We want to test everything, so we need as many testers as possible. Thanks a bunch for all the emails so far. We will certainly produce accurate results!

Please keep the emails coming!

Regards,

RPM
Hi rpm,
Excellent stuff as usual.
Please try to avoid the criticism of the last test. If you don't have enough testers for product x on package y from geographic area z, ask for more volunteers before you kick off. Your statistician will know what the smallest significant sample size will be.

Another question :) I havn't heard anything or gotten a reply from you RPM (or anyone actually)? Was my original email recieved or should I sent again?

Hi RPM, ALL
Just got connected ADSL first time. Where is test program and speed test ??
Seems much faster than Sat link (No cap No shape)

Is Telkom cooking the results?

I have been testing since lunch time and have been amazed by the good data so far. I have never had such speeds before, especially on the 1st of the month. Is the service better for everyone else? Maybe we should insist that they are capable of providing what we pay for and test year round!. It is the first time since using ADSL that I in fact are receiving a BETTER than contracted for service from them.

Are others also experiencing a wonderful full speed dday 1 of a new month?

rpm - If my line speed is supposed to be upgraded in the next 24-48 hours should I wait to commence testing?

Testing ??

I have been running various tests on USA, UK and Australie servers as well as Telkom tests. Results looked good between 202 and 404 badwith on 512 system. Problem is that there is many stutters that for moments nothing happens, pages can not be found, test download fails on not responding, download of test program stops halfway, and AFTER refresh of page it would appear OK and fast.
RPM where is the test program ??? You are talking about ???
I applied for the 1024 upgrade.... Any news on results Yet
