Just now I drove past someone speaking on their cellphone. White unbranded Corsa bakkie. Oh the horror. I am eternally sorry I did not have a picture to post here.

Yea, that was the way to post that here. But then, that's what I get for sticking my neck out. I've seen the mail but am only today back at PC/in range of an Internet connection. Which means I can/will reply in turn. Also, welcome to the forum ...more or less.

It took six days to respond, and now you want a response immediately. And you break forum protocol by using the OP's name.

Bad form!

Ja nee; this an insurance company, (mostly) not known for being the most progressive of institutions. I suspect that someone got tasked with having to (finally) come here, to whom it didn't occur to read everything (if it's even mentioned in there), much less knows the social protocol ...and, in the interest of being fair and even-handed (and not just a frothy baying of the hounds) I *did* invite them to the conversation. The best part is how it was explicitly stated that they "will not engage in conversation on social media". Life's little ironies.

I see it says you sent emails. Why am I not surprised......

But hey, let us know what damage you caused to your victim.

EDIT - and please let the managing director know you are guilty of the same behaviour hey.

EDIT again - lol, my edit wasn't quite an edit.... :)

This thread's just like a soap opera. It starts off quite interesting, then there's a long period where it's just the same old same old and you can skip a few episodes and not even notice, and suddenly, just as you're about to give up on it and move on, they bring in a cliffhanger to keep you interested.

And so, here we sit, waiting to find out what the manager said in his emails...

Guys, can you all just remove the poster's surname from the quoted Motorite post? You know it's against forum rules.
