They are very successful as they have many foreign clients. The live in the expensive areas near all the 5 star hotels.

Drunk guys can't tell and when horny will say what the heck.

They target tourist areas. The whole Pattaya beachfront have them every few meters when it turns dark.

I've have planned to go during Songkran, but with Covid and other issues my timing was never right. There are loads of videos on YouTube, if you're prepared to filter through schit.

Global Travel Mate did upload some videos that I enjoyed.
 
Didn't read the thread. Just came here to say I try and forget about my Thailand trip. Was my honeymoon. After my 1st and only wedding, it is at said wedding that she accused me of sucking d1ck.

Experienced five Songkrans. Loved it the first time, but after that I just bought everything I needed before subsequent ones and stayed in my apartment. I couldn't stand it when people placed actual ice blocks in the water and dumped it over me.

Yep, I took my Japanese girlfriend at the time on a trip to Thailand in 2006 (Both of our first times there) and things fell apart for us, not because I would ever cheat, but because she was super jealous even if a girl just smiled at me. Went back to Japan and had a massive breakup but atleast it gave me the push I needed to leave Japan and explore more of Asia.

I saw flights next month for R9000 return to Johannesburg to Bangkok is that expensive?
