put your phone on silent at night - your own fault. (I would have switched it off after the first SMS)
May I ask which HTC? I'm running a Touch Pro with 6.1 here and it has an option that allows you to have the alarm ring while the phone is on silent, you can enable or disable it. Let me know if you're running a Touch Pro or Diamond and I'll send you a PM on how to change that option. Some more off topic: Yeah Nokias are leet in that sense. I own a HTC with Windows Mobile 6.1.....if its on silent, its on silent. No alarms, no meeting reminders no nothing. Pretty sad if you ask me.

Not true. I whine only about whiners. Whiners whine about everything. There is actually something worse than a whiner and thats someone who whines about whiners.
Hi Guys
If anyone is still experiencing problems with the sms notifications or any additional queries can you please provide me with your details via pm and we would definitely assist with your query?
Until somebody hacks your account at 8:00pm and you dont realise until 8:00am that all your bandwidth is gone (unless your using WA's port locking of course but still)I use both WA and Axxess. WA use realtime sms's for notifications. Axxess sms's only come through after 8am. Easy solution, I just use the email notifications for WA instead of SMS.
Its no use whining when there is already a solution available to you.
The email notification for Webafrica is recent (about a year or so), they've always had the sms notifications.

I had the same problem with them (and with STD actually). I finally disabled it all though because I kept on forgetting to turn the phone offAnyone experience this and have any ideas how to stop the smses from coming at that time?
I know a bit about this. What happen is, there is a big system behind transferring money from one bank to another. Basically what happen is, every bank will queue up all the transactions they have from them to lets say ABSA. Then right at the end of the day they will calculate all of it, and send it in one big fat value to said bank instead of doing every transaction individually. This saves somewhat on computing time, but of coarse now what happen is, either when you pay someone at another bank or receive money from someone with another bank, this will happen during night time.A little OT, but is anyone here signed up to the FNB banking SMS facility? This is the one where they send you an SMS if any transactions go through on your bank account.
It seems that if someone transfers to me from another bank, the transaction goes through at 2-3am in the morning.
A couple nights in a row I have been woken up with smses...
I still want the smses in general, so I have resorted to turining my phone off every night (which is a pain).
Anyone experience this and have any ideas how to stop the smses from coming at that time?
Thanks
The whole idea about the SMS's FNB send is to know the exact moment something happens to your account. If someone was sending money from my account (not going into how they could) then I would like to know the moment it happens so that I can get on the phone with my bank and ask them to fix it. So my guess is, what you asking for is a bad thing, although for you it could be nice to have the time scheduled when they send the sms.
