That's a wrap folks | MultiChoice pulls the plug on Afro Worldview

I would not be able to sleep at night if I knew I was indirectly helping the Guptas to loot our country.
Understandable, but with a heavy heart you would drag yourself out of bed and do what is expected of you every day until something better comes along, right? You are not the one doing the looting mos? I don't think it was an easy for those employees to be hated by people just for working for the Guptas.

No, I would not. I will think of my future and realize that being linked to an organization like that will have a bad outcome.

And for the same reason it may not be that easy to find a job in the industry so consider that.

Jimmy? What did he say?

Apparently nothing...

Tshabalala said they were disappointed at how management had handled the channel's demise.

“Management should be upfront with workers to say what will happen if they are cut off from midnight tonight (Monday). Are workers going to stay at home? What will happen to their salaries? Those are the things that we felt that management was not upfront with them [about].”

Beyond sad...

MC would not have just cancelled the contract or anything like that. Jimmy would have had at least a months notice that the contract was not going to be renewed..
They decided in February to terminate.
