The 2017 Weightloss Thread

Did you lose 1.4kg in 2 days?

Just general fluctuation, depending on whether I have a full stomach, etc. Last five days have been:

  • 71.1
  • 72.2
  • 72.2
  • 71.7
  • 70.8

It's also possible my scale is a bit ****, given I bought a cheap one from Clicks. :o
 
Checking in: 101.2 kg (nearly same as last week)

Screw that, low carb doesn't work for me, I'm switching to my tried and tested kJ counting method with which I consistently lose 1.5 kg a week. Starting Monday ;). My meals typically have either rice, potato or pasta. Potatoes are surprisingly low in kJ.

You tried it for a week and drank beer.... yeh, doesn't work :D
I don't trust that craft low carb stuff...
 
69.7! WTF is happening? Been eating rabbit food six days a week and gymming for three but still not losing weight. But it feels like my clothes are hanging loose and looking down can now see only boobs, no stomach. Hopefully next week will go better weight wise.
 
Could be just water. Your cells don't release water straight away especially if there has been a transition from fat to healthy. Look up "whooshes".
 
133.4 don't know what the heck is wrong, I'm suppose to lose more.

i have the same thing going on.... just keep going, seems like the weight we put back on was more permanent than expected :D

Maybe post a food diary for help from others?

Dieting is not the answer. Activity and proper diet is.

Every time you go hungry, you just train your body to hold on to food more efficiently.

Having said that - remove bread/wheat.
