The 2017 Weightloss Thread

Had the runs over last weekend which I hoped would help with the weight shedding, because of that I also couldn't exercise for almost the entire week. 133.1 kg, steady, but hoping to get in to a regular exercise routine from now on.

Weekly weigh in: 104.4kg.

Been plateau'ing for the last 2 weeks, but at least not gaining. Keen to get that sorted.

Forgot to come post my weigh in yesterday, 131.2 so finally starting to come down. Healthy eating, watching portion sizes, no beer for the past 2 weeks already, but I think the main factor here is a hour of death with a personal trainer 3 times per week which is starting to show.

Weekly weigh in: 103,4kg

Been a slow week since I travelled to the russian border again. Cold and nothing to do, so my eating suffered a bit.

0,2kg to go until I've clocked 10kgs this year.

Weigh in : 94.6kg

Been very lazy the whole of Feb. Lucky that I did not really pick up any weight.

For those exercising. How do you replenish your fluids? Just water. I know Powerade can't be good low carb wise. This what I would have used in the past. Need an alternative.

I'm also constantly hungry during the day now since I've started training. I don't think I'm hydrating enough while on the bike. But I'm about to demolish everything in my lunchbox.

I'm still having two slices a bread during the course of the day. Need to cut that out. Going to also need make my own dinner. That's the biggest challenge, eating differently to what the family is eating.

Water is by far the best option. Also nothing tastes like cold water during or after a workout :D

For me its Coffee/Tea but I had to cut the sugar out of it and water, it took some getting used to. I'm pretty sure Powerade is not much better then a coke or a beer :)

For me I was hungry after eating Carbs so I stopped eating them and went heavy on the protein. Protein is supposed to make you feel fuller for longer (according to the book I read anyway). Maybe your body is having some withdrawals or its in your mind, I'm sure for me it was in my mind but I got over it.

i see they have a powerade lite that the reddit keto people use sometimes. i haven't seen this here though. must be an overseas thing.
