The 2017 Weightloss Thread

I've completely fallen off the bus after easter. :o

I did well getting down to about 102.8kg from 113'ish between Jan and then. Picked up the pieces again this month from 109.7kg and right now I'm on 104.7kg, so going to try and keep at it to finally break the sub 100 mark again.

yeah, I went from 105 to 119:o
Back down to 111.5, aiming for 99 by end October, you only have 5kg to go, that is so doable!!

Weekly weigh in: 103.1kg

Dropped 6.6kg this month so far. I cut out sugar free pepsi max even though it was said to contain no funny business. Also trying to stay on top of the no-snacks thing.

I guess what helps most is that the mrs is also on a diet, so she doesn't make her usual deliciously carb loaded food anymore. :o

Easiest diet ever: Put your wife/gf on a diet and suffer along.

So just barely made my discovery 3 month weight loss target! I thought it was going to be a breeze, only 9kg in 3 months but scrapped in by a measly 100gr under target.
Anyhow new target set. Nice woolies discount though for the next few months of 40%.

I haven't been home in over a week so i'll only be able to weigh in next weekend. Stuck on a job site so it might actually help with my weightloss. :p

Eish, I dunno, I normally have to work extra hard when I travel not to gain weight by eating the wrong foods.
 
Keep up the good work guys... But the calories down :)

I'm on to my next phase since Monday as I started bulking again after reaching about 13% BF.

Let me tell you. Cutting and keeping the calories down is so much easier than hitting the bigger numbers now.

I feel like I am force feeding myself and feel bloated most of the times. Especially since I'm trying to keep my diet the same. Just increasing the amounts.
 
How many additional calories are you eating a day?

I was cutting at around 2000/day. Now had to increase to about 3000. But I'm guessing it will be more in the next few weeks. Still losing a few grams of weight this week even at 3000.
 
winters been ****ing awful. or rather ive been awful during winter. getting back on this horse....

Should send you a pic of yesterdays dinner. Had a old Portuguese family favorite: lulas. Basically calamari ( heads mainly and some tubes ), cooked in a broth ( tommoto and onion ) till very soft and tender. Spiced with cumin, paprika, salt , pepper, garlic and a dash of wine which is cooked off in the process. Normally you throw potatoes into it and cook it in a whole mess like a poetjie, obviously can't have that (LCHF) so subbed potatoes for cauliflower florets.

Love the dish, even though I like grilled calamari, this one is a very home down family type thing.

Weight fluctuations are just crazy - last week week Thursday I weighed in at 110.4 just in time to meet my discovery target, then weight increased for no reason except maybe relief at reaching the target and I dunno insane water retention to 112.4 and then this morning back down to 110.6.
Hopefully I will maintain this range and start dropping below 110.
I have also started strict calorie counting with fatsecret app - keeping below 2000 a day, I want to average around 1300 -1500 a day.
