I went to the gym on Monday morning and today (morning), and it wasn't full at all. Actually there were less people than usual. Try going to the gym in the morning, more people go to gym after work.

Thanks, Fanie.

Jislaaik @Kosmik - truly inspiring stuff, dude! Makes me feel more hopeful.

Faniedry's got a spreadsheet and he's not afraid to use it. Arghh.

Mornings would be ideal but the traffic requires I leave home early. Nice that you're able to fit it into your morning schedule.

It's okay though, the new years resolutions have given up already. Gym is back to normal. :D

I weigh in on Friday mornings and even though curiosity gets me at times I'm quite strickt with my weigh only once per week rule.
So far this week it feals like the weight is standing still, maybe my body is in shock after the sudden change in diet after the holidays.

I am doing a 4 week fitness challenge which involves 70% rope skipping. Week 1 done and dusted this morning!

Here is a link if anyone else is looking for a different workout. http://zendudefitness.com/
All you need is a skipping rope and some space. I get up every morning at 5 and do the workout in the living room in front of the TV while playing something on youtube. I live in a small loft apartment with my wife so you really do not need a lot of space. Takes about 30 minutes to do and believe me when I say this workout is effective in making you sweat like a teenage boy before doing the deed.

I am aiming to go back to Thai boxing later this year and want to prove to myself that I can exercise on my own for at least 3 months before going back as well as lose 5 kg's. Do not want to spend money on club fees if I am going to slack.

Seems I might just join you.
Seems simple enough :p

Sure why not. Don't know if it will useful to you as the measurement is weight, not percentage of body fat.

I that case I'll be in as well, mainly to maintain my current weight. So I'll use this thread as motivation :)
