The 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup Thread

I reckon BD is going to win by throwing the bat around. Good strategy as nothing to lose. T20 style.
 
India bowling lineups major weakness is that they need teams to attack them to get wickets but with these flat high scoring wickets teams have to attack especially when chasing. Though England have proven that India do struggle when bowling first though.
 
I dunno.. seems like you bat 1st, make over 300 and you almost always win with a decent bowling lineup
 
So I see that NRR is only a determining factor in whether a team advances or not after the number of wins is taken into account.

So it's on.. if they can make over 315 +/- they can go thru.. anything less and they could be out
 
Anyone know if Showmax will show the semis and final ? I guess i could sit in other room at watch on Dstv Now.. but meh.
 
The petty person in me wants ENG to lose today and PAK to win their next game JUST for me to say, "at least one of the Big 3 also failed to make the semis, so we are not that bad" :D

Very good start for England and anything short of 350 means Nzl has contained them. If they get over 315-330 i doubt Nzl will break the trend and actually win it.

Agreed, I feel NZ missing Lockie is going to cost them, Southee just doesn’t cut the meat.
