71.2Taking ages but I'm closing in on that 70 KG mark, one bant at a time.
1/2 kg in a week is a nice sustainable rate to lose at. Keep it up

The Huawei body fat scale is going for a good price on takealot. I've had mine for about 6 or 7 months and it's worked really well.

Fair critiques. I also lost my historical data when I changed phones.Agree, also had mine for similar time and it's worked well.
The only thing that bothers me about this scale is the inability to share and backup the data.
Huawei offer no way to do this as far as I have been able to find. Linking to Garmin, Strava or MyFitnessPal for example is not possible. Once you've used the scale, you need to manually enter the data into other platforms. There appear to be numerous calls for this feature on Huawei support forums, but they don't bother to even respond.
Also, I have not found a way to backup/preserve historical data. When I changed phones, I lost all previous data (and I tried to backup before moving to new device incl. odd apps like Helium). There is no ability to backup data (without being rooted on Android - which I never tried) and even though you login/need an account to use their scale app, even that does not retain data. So dare you need to wipe or change your phone, cheerio to all your previous scale data.
If I had known the above before hand, I would have bought something else. Now that I've got it and money is tighter than ever before, it'll be what I use until it breaks.
Actually gone a bit up. Back to the drawing board.Double digits taking longer getting harder to reach. Eish.View attachment 840711
Well done and good luck on your 12 week challenge.Thread seems to have gone a bit quite the last couple of weeks. You'd expect that anyway I guess but the whole lockdown situation probably doesn't help keep people motivated.
My check in for this week is at 81.7kg, the last 3 weeks or so not having been great from a weight point of view and I really don't want to pick up more than this. I've decided to treat the next 12 weeks as my own 12 week challenge as a way of redoubling my efforts. So the plan is to stick to healthy choices food wise - Paleo based with calorie/macro tracking (if I can get to grips with MyfitessPal!)
Exercise wise, I'm going to program bodyweight strength workouts on Monday/Wednesday with HIIT Tuesday/Thursday. Rest day Friday and a run on the weekend. This type of regime has worked well for me in the past.
Anyway, I thought I would mention here to give myself a bit of additional motivation and accountability. Keep well Y'all![]()
Well done and good luck on your 12 week challenge.
Lockdown for me has been good for me weightloss wise. Ive lost 10kg so far. Cutting back on junkfood has been really good for me. So things going well so far. The few takeout meals ive had during lockdown has made me feel incredibly ill. Pizza is the only junk food that hasnt made me feel ill.
I have also been eating at a calorie deficit with hard training, and its working well for me.
Unfortunately the bodybuilder lowfat diet seems to work best for me so no banting, low carb, etc.
Paleo is just too restrictive with no grains, dairy or legumes allowed.
The training I do is kettlebell full body workouts on one day, followed by running the next day.
So alternating strength day followed by cardio day.
