Not that bad. From Thursday past I have had 6 slices of toast, bowl of popcorn and a toasted cheeses and tomato sandwich.Did you eat this week? That's quite a drop. Look after yourself.

I agree with your experience and practice,90 percent of over weight comes from food specifically sugar related foodIn my experience (at least), diet plays 90% of a role, and exercise 10%. I was doing crossfit daily, eating big meals, because you know, "I are like exercising", and lost buggerall in the process in 2 years. Only once I cut my portions by 75%, did I start losing weight.
I'd recommend a calorie deficit mon to sun.Hey Guys, starting to diet this weak in an attempt to loose +- 6 kg in 10 weeks. I exercise about 4-5 week so mainly want to focus on healthy eating Monday - Friday. Download the Fat Secret app to track my calories per day. A mate calculate my gram allowance of Protein, Fat and Carbs per day but the Carbs seems really low. Any idea of a calculate you can recommend ? (Did use google but found a big difference between the website)

Lots of people fall into the trap of eating well Mon to Fri and blow their progress (and sometimes even regress) with sat and sun.
Portion size is key. I ate lots of mostly healthy food for a long time and struggled to lose weight. Thanks going to try this new system for 4 weeks if I don't see any real progress will then change to a Mon to Sun system. Don't really eat that unhealthy think the issue is more the balance of my diet and portion size

Cut my portion sizes down significantly and started losing weight.
In the beginning I struggled with portion sizes but after about 2 weeks I got fuller a lot quicker and it was easier.
I would say have one cheat meal per week(normal size portion ie dont smash 2 pizzas in one sitting and say its one meal) and follow program Mon-Sun.

You have stick on true advise
Cutting meals is the best rather than emphasizing exercise
Diet is more effective than exercise in terms of losing weight but exercise is still important for maintaining good health and a level of fitness. Strength, mobility, cardiovascular fitness and body composition are also important components of good health. A sedentary lifestyle is now recognised as a major risk factor right up there with hypertension, cardiovascular disease, smoking, obesity etc.
Diet and exercise complement each other and we should all strive for good habits in both.
One of the things I've figured out in my 47kg loss in 11 months journey, I can't out exercise a bad diet. There is something interested on this thread
Most of the participants are concetrating on physical exercise
