You do get hill assist for a manual - it works off the clutch - it will hold the car for about 10 seconds if you are creeping up or down a slope.

If it's on the UK spec it could be on ours, but that's not a given.

For the same reason that Sinbad said - actually once you have driven with it for a while, it's a very nice option, saves pulling the handbrake up at every little hill.

I have a very steep entance/ exit to my garage, and when I reverse out, I go straight on to the main road which is usually busy, and in that case it works brilliantly - holding the car until I can reverse out on to the road.

Its not but its a nice thing to have, going back to manual after 7 years and I live in a very hilly area but its actually a very nice system to have on your car besides its nice to know if the car has it, if not then bleh tough luck.

@haldex ... okay decatting an exhaust doesnt give you more performance you right, why would an exhaust be important for an engine system, why would exhausting stale air be important in an internal combustion engine. If it doesnt make sense then you a moron and thats being kind. Spare this thread from your idioacy. Do you even have a car ? It doesnt give the performance figures you stated, I did a downpipe and removed the cat of mine, cars feels awesome, but no way you going to get 30kw lol!!

Just driven one to Durban and back - or gaz mik!!

I wish the "experts" would shut up about the figures and drive the car instead, and then come back with their oh so expert opinions....figures on paper mean zip!

I would put the "feel" of the car performance wise very much like a WRX which, although it develops 50 kw more, also weighs 250 kg more....say no more!

Fazda, this is a public forum and I am entitled to my opinion, as it is just that my opinion.

Based on your attitude about us pimple faced dragsters just needing to shut up, I think I will pass on this car.

I happen love the track days and legal drags so figures are important to me when laying down 300k plus and if you are not prepared to discuss figures and what makes this car better then the rest besides looks I am not interested, I will look elsewhere for a replacement of my R26.
