Small house since all connections green.

I have 3 (one triple pack) and some poor connections due to size and obstructions (thick walls and metal etc).

As you can see, one is red/brown.

Don't you still have the xtra pair... Maybe following the notes can improve that red router (red router) performance and connection

Yep still have a triple pack. Just lazy to set it up.

My LTE wifi in bedroom via wired AP, so not an issue and funnily enough the fibre triple ties wifi fine enough for everything incl streaming netflix/youtube.

my airties unit is a brick after Vox pushed their router firmware update... I am trying everything to fix it but not winning at all.

I have 1 unit which picks up my wifi from router downstairs and broadcasts upstairs. I have this unit connecting via LAN to my PS as well. the airties box has no connection but its visible on the network. the LAN connection is not working either. Says some DNS issue (On ps4 and when I search on Chrome)

I cannot find a firmware update (tried the PDF linked on page 13, the link says incorrect and no docs are there...) cannot find anywhere on the Airties homepage or other websites..

I have hard reset the unit, I have tried to connect it to the router via LAN and WPS about 20 times and it just does not connect anymore where before the Vox firmware update, it was working perfectly.

trying to search for firmware update via the system (logged in to airties) it gives me an error (with the option of auto ticked) under tools - firmware update. thats not working either

running out of ideas and options here, hoping firmware update will fix the issue but not sure what the actual issue is

Any help would be appreciated

Is it a dlink router?
Something happened to the dlink router on vumatel, the Ethernets stopped working to route internet. So DSTV box, TV, airties all stopped working or were working intermittently.

Changed the router, and all was ok.

I added them 1 by one to the existing mesh of 3 units.

Don't power the new pack on at the same time, as they will mesh together. Only power 1 at a time , reset and WPS.

Then wait for like 3-4 minutes. < This is the most important instruction at all stages. The original mess I created happened because I was impatient

Check the app that it's added the unit, then power up the next one.

Note: I was going through the "Add airtie" wizard when I was adding each one. I don't know if this has an effect
Btw what is the firmware version on the 2 triple packs?

Also any issues to reconnect after a power outage?

Bought a new 4930 to add to my Home Mesh of 4920's. They will not connect on WPS so the new unit won't joint the MESH.

I mailed Nology (I am a reseller registered) and will see what the response is. The 4920 is on 1.33.10.8.825 and the new 4930 is on 2.67.8.14.431

Strange as its supposed to be compatible

Air 4930
One of the most important things to note with this new model is that it is completely backwards compatible with the previous model. They can both be part of the same mesh network!
The firmware for Air 4930 and Air 4920 is being maintained in parallel.

Do you maybe need to upgrade the 4920 first?

Any feedback?

They don't do a 4930 triple - only the 4920 was sold in triples.

The 4930 is sold in singles only

Prices seem crazy!

Have 2 x triple mounting kits (i.e. 6 mounting kits).

These things best if mounted high.

Haven't used them because 1. Using only 3 (1 triple kit) and 2. Not sure of their final placement.

Would be interesting to see if any difference in speeds.

Anyone with the 4930 - how is the performance? The 4920s are decent and haven't given me much issue - just wish there was more functionality
