The AirTies thread

I've got some firmware files - will send you a PM with the link
I would please also like the link to the firmware files. It seems my 3 4920's have firmware version 1.33.10.8.825 - do I need another version to work with a new 4930?

I have a 6 unit system I am looking to sell, plus 2 singles - all on the latest firmware. DM me if interested. Very fair pricing

Have a triple set I havent even used. Bought it from Reeve technology. Available if reasonable offer made. Feel free to PM.

Will advertise as part of my clearance. Just need to go through everything and list all the stuff.

Using current triple set from Vox. Decided to use network cable as backhaul between airties.

Update:

Sold and tested.

Might sell my current triple pack in March that I'm using but doubt it.

All working ok?
Hi there
Any feedback on whether or not this worked? I'm returning my 4930 (single) for the second time (to Takealot), as trying to order a 4920 single seems impossible. I have firmware 1.33.10.8.825 on my 4920's and just cannot get the new 4930 to mesh with the 3-pack 4920's. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Contact Nology for help. If you in Gauteng you could pop in as Nology is in Centurion. Ask for Robin.

Have you tried to update the 4920s? An easy way to get am additional noce to join your mesh is to plug it into another node thats already setup via ethernet then switch on the new node. The new node will inherit the mesh settings from the old one

So in your case, first update the 4920s to the latest firmware then when that is done, plug the 4930 into one of the 4920s ethernet. Switchh on the 4930 and after 3-4 minutes it'll show up in the app

Hi there, yes, we tried that twice as well, and still didn't work. After multiple tries the assumption was that they aren't compatible. I'm trying to source a single 4920, and will try that. I've also emailed Vox to see what they say - no reply yet. Thanks so much

Is there a way to measure the 'noise' on an airties Wifi network? Or to see how congested the wifi bands are? Is this where the CCA Monitor would come in?

Raising this as recently i've added quite a number of smart home devices all on the 2.4Ghz network and i get the sense (with no actual measurement) that the APs are struggling with the loads - i have about 30-36 devices connecting to wifi

3 of my nodes are hardwired and the others are on Wifi MESH and ive noticed that after sometime more and more of my smarthome devices stop responding / drop off from the network - is there anyway of checking and possibly resolving this? Aside from getting a different brand of AP of course (that's a 2021 project)

Anyone?

Having so many issues with these devices lately...they were wokring fine then one day i made a config change (changed wifi channel) and its been a nightmare.

Wifi will randomly drop, devices on the 2.4ghz ssid lose their dhcp leases, throughput on 2.4ghz ssid drops to 0, APs in the mesh drop the connection to other APs and restarting yhe main node brings down the whole network.

I've reset and reconfigured them at least 5 times since Friday and im frankly over it now. What makes it worse is that the logs dont show, as in i have setup the logs to display but nothing is shown
