The Anni Dewani Murder Case

mmmmm, the plot thickens... perhas this guy managed to pull off a killing in SA with great ease in the past and decided he'd pull off another; just this time things didn't go as smoothly as the last.

Now picture me saying the above, wearing a Columbo like jacket :D

I wonder how the SAPS decided that he may be incvolved in the EC killing? What kind of link or evidence do they have for drawing such a conclusion?

they were told by one of the accused i think it was the driver.
 
Apparently Dewani's dad and the murdered doc in the E.C. were friend's/acquaintances....

S.A. is the murder capital of the world.

I can put a hit on sumbody for R50 + 2loaves bread and some polony

Just because my dad knows someone and that person gets killed, it does not provide a link for my involvement in his death. SAPS would need more than that ............

I think they are investigating if there is a link, they are not claiming there is one. But there are similarities - Pox Raghavjee, was found shot dead in his car in Bhisho, a city in the Eastern Cape but nothing was stolen from him.

According to iol
Hotel receptionist Monde Mbolombo claims he helped hire two gunmen to kill Anni Dewani in a staged hijacking near Cape Town at the request of her husband.
In a further twist, Mbolombo is also suspected of linking Dewani to a previous “execution style” murder in South Africa three years ago.

Apparently Dewani denied ever having been in SA before. This can of course be checked via the authorities / correct govt channels.

Then again, it is possible to contract a hit from outside the country.

Again, the motive is very unclear.

His lawyers in the UK presented his passport as evidence that he had never been into SA before. I'm pretty doubtful of this other link. In any case I'm sure they'll never get a conviction on it, but they don't need to if they just focus on the Anni case.
 
Well passports get lost, can be re-issued, won't have any stamps in them. Also , I know in SA you are allowed to have two passports, so presenting a passport without any entry stamps proves nothing.

More investigation will therefore be needed to prove if he did or did not enter SA

100% correct

plus brits get their visas on arrival atm otherwise def.in 2007
so book n fly
maybe the late docs wife can verify if he visited them
dont know if u can remember when it just happened he said that sa is a good country n ppl should not stop coming here
