The Aussies have lost their momentum. Declare and go at the English for a few nervous overs before tea. Well that is the call I would have made.

The English nightmare gets worse! 3 down on the placid pitch that is Lords.

Why did Australia select such a senior player in Rogers. He's retiring at 37 after only playing in a few tests. Good knock from him.

Stumps day 2. England is struggling, but seems to make a bit of a come back.

Australia 566/8d
England 85/4 (29.0 ov)

England trail by 481 runs with 6 wickets remaining in the 1st innings

Moeen Ali gone to plumb in front and goes for a review? What a waste.

So now comes the tricky decision on whether to enforce the follow on or put on a quick 150+.

Edit: I would not enforce the follow on. Bat and put them under even more pressure.

And there goes Wood! The player and the wicket! :p

Ali was a tactical appeal. Last batsman to hold a bat so may as well take a chance.

Eng 306-9

61 to avoid the follow on

Enforcing the follow on they are? Seems the right thing to do.
