Thought they would enforce it myself... Nip out 2 or 3 tonight and England would be deep in the dwang.

Aus finally declared... let's see how the pommies do :whistling:

509 to win ... nice weather, so I don't foresee any rain delays in the next day and a bit.

This will be a huge ask. If the Poms apply themselves, they have the time to do it.

Time to chase? No way they go after that. They're far too conservative.

One could almost say that it playing for a draw gets them into a mess. Bell wasn't a happy camper playing conservative. It got him out in the end.

How about that run out?! Stokes gone!

Bat and foot over the line... but all in the air. Schoolboy error!

Marsh to Root, OUT, firmly clipped into the leg-side, and what has happened here?! Uh oh ... Stokes failed to run his bat in! A quick single from Root, Johnson pounced and flung, and, well, Stokes' foot was in the air, hovering over the crease as the bails were obliterated!

BA Stokes run out 0 (3b 0x4 0x6) SR: 0.00

That should make a great photograph, if someone snapped that.

Have England given this up already? The way they are playing seems to indicate this.

Johnson gets 2 in the over. Bowling with venom and fire. Short ball is doing the trick. Ali gone and the end is nigh.

The Aussies must finish them off. I have a bottle of Johnnie Walker Blue on this game.
