Clarke needs a good innings in the second or he'll have a lot of heat back home... or Australia win or draw and it'll all be forgotten? That said, I wish him all well. I respect the guy.
They've made a big mistake by not bringing Haddin back into the side. He was not dropped for the second Test, but requested time out to go home to his sick daughter.

He definitely brings a healthy wag to the latter half of their line up. You cannot replace that sort of experience. The 3 early wickets put quite bit of pressure for the rest of the team to contribute.

Interestingly poised.

This is a poor effort, but imagine the ball might be doing a bit. Not sure this excuses a top side crumbling like this.

All out in under 37 overs. Aussies truly against the wall now.

Here they come out now. Lets see what they do.

'first time since Nov 04, after 139 tests, England without a player born in southern Africa'

Interesting.

Stumps Day 1.

Australia 136
England 133/3 (29.0 ov)
England trail by 3 runs with 7 wickets remaining in the 1st innings

Question is.. can England get to 200 on the 1st innings... let's see what tomorrow brings.

Following on your comment, I see this tweet from Brett Lee:

Decision to retain Nevill over Haddin goes against Australia's 'Family First' approach.

A poor precedent to set!
