Inside a black hole there is no concept of spacetime. There is no concept of time, because it appears to cease completely for objects entering the event horizon, and there's no space because a black hole folds space in on itself and has no shape, and infinite density. Deep inside an atom, in the layers of existence where quarks and neutrinos and bosons exist, string theory predicts that there's a chance, through the uncertainty principle, that any fundamental particle could find itself in another part of the universe instead of where it was located currently. Therefore, time and space do not exist for fundamental particles.

Ant-Man's subatomic abilities borrow heavily from assumptions we have about string theory and the other planes of existence that lie within our own.

Late to this party because of kids and life and stuff. But finally managed to watch Thor Ragnarock yesterday during the day, and then watched Infinity War last night. So glad I went out of my way to not skip Thor, and also so glad it was out for rental already instead of being in that dead zone of not being available anywhere except ****ty cam rips. I have not watched a Cam rip since my teens.

Anyway, I was utterly floored. I simply loved this movie. I can hardly find a point about this movie that I dont like.

Thanos as a villain was just fantastic. I remember watching an interview with Brolin and when asked about playing Thanos he smiled such a deep and genuine smile of joy when he said he loved playing this character and that he was DEEP. You could just tell from that answer, that from an artistic standpoint, Thanos was going to be so much more than a generic villain and oh my god was that the truth.

The pacing was fantastic, the choice to start the movie off with the Refugee ship scenes and displaying Thanos' power and willingness to kill. Killing off Loki right when he was turning the corner of becoming the brother that Thor always hoped he would be. It just sets the stakes from the outset. Every time a hero is in battle, you have that fear for their survival.

My appreciation for how they got to this point is just so difficult to put into words. The fact that we were familiar enough with all 25 super hero characters, that this movie could focus almost all of its character development on the amazing villain, and do it all this well. I am still trying to fully process everything this movie has made me think and feel, and it has been 12 hours. To get that type of experience from a comic book movie, and a big budget action movie? I am just floored with appreciation.

Yeah, it's certainly an achievement that a film that might be kinda crap by itself is outstanding in the context of other films. Marvel has created an ultra behemoth IMAX mini series in a sense. It's no disrespect to a great TV show to say that it wouldn't be good if you only watched one of the last episodes.

It also shows how idiotic the executives at DC are. They wanted to recreate what took Marvel many years, and they just launched into the late game. As if that wasn't dumb enough, they also greatly hampered the film makers and ordered extensive reshoots for nearly all their last batch of films. That's how we ended up with garbage like Batman v Superman and Justice League. It's just tragic to compare Thanos with that Steppenwolf thing.

Because it was the one time they didn't remove creative control from the director, or force the film to be concerned about the wider DC universe. Unfortunately that didn't result in any lessons learned it seems.

Kind of funny thinking back Ironman was pretty much shot on the fly, without proper scripts and scenes decided on the day,
and it was the foundation for this entire Movie universe.

Well, maybe the lesson is that directors, writers and actors know more about making a compelling film than some executive in an office.

The only decent recent one was Wonder Woman, and that's because they did it properly. Now it's obvious that they're trying to play catch-up, and are doing a schit job of it because they aren't willing to invest the time in doing it properly.

It's a pity, because they had a golden opportunity to start the journey with Nolan's Batman, and they squandered it...

They did worse than that, because by most accounts it seems that Ben Affleck had an awesome vision for a standalone Batman film that would have seen Batman being his normal investigative self. I'd honestly prefer that to the usual world-ending stuff. Presumably due to him not being afforded adequate creative control or the studio thinking audiences wouldn't like it, that plan has long since hit the dust.

Surely this movie must be the nail in the coffin of the DCEU, I mean all the marvel movies have been on a spectrum of good -> great. But all have been standalones for the most part. And the DCEU had been trying to play catch up the whole time. While the Marvel movies had not reached their end game yet, DC trying in vain to catch up felt "within the realms of possibility". But now that Marvel have hit their end game, and just done it so well. DC need to bow the **** out of the game before they utterly trash their characters for good.
Clooney feared that he had killed the cinematic batman character for all time with that god aweful batman movie, but that was one movie, and it was very camp and cheesy so it could be forgiven. The DCEU is currently a large host of movies, all trying to take themselves seriously, while being trainwrecks. The effects of this will be much longer lasting than Batman and Robin. They need to just stop right now for 5 years, and come up with a plan for an EU that works, or just stick to isolated standalone character movies and be done with it.

DC / Warner never had an issue that Marvel had with regards to character rights. Warner has the movie rights for all their characters unlike Marvel that sold characters to sony , fox etc. and are now slowly trying to buy them back.
DC could have done a cinematic universe so long ago (like they did with their animated TV series)
Lol DC should hire Bruce Timm to direct their Cinematic Universe like Kevin Feige does for Marvel.

No, no, no.
No one will ever know what happens inside a black hole because current mathematics breaks down. It requires existence of negative time and division by 0 to get the density which leads to a lot of enthusiasts crying about "infinite mass".

Btw.. I liked Infiniti war..
This movie has very thin plot lines and poor motivation for the villain... who could have been easily defeated if certain egos were not in the way.. mainly tony stark.

But the 14 or so movies before this is why this movie is so good... we understand each character and their story's.

Dceu.. is about 10 movies and 8 years behind.. if you compare dc 3 movies to marvels 14 you will always hate dc... as a comic book fan.. love both for what it is.. start a new journey with dc and be excited for the current climax of marvel...
