The Bafana Bafana Thread

Well done to him, he did well but I maintain, he is not the most gifted. Not to say that he can be decent on his day. But he is not a striker who will score every second game or so like Foster.
Football is not about gifted players, it's about getting the best out of the players you have, I would again go back to the most potent striker combination we have ever seen in SA, Collins Mbesuma and David Radebe under The Great Ted Dumitri.

Even Foster was nothing special at Pirates.

The Good Lord works in mysterious ways, every time the North Africans start kissing the ground I always pray they never get their way, they are so entitled.

Someone spare a thought for Patrice Motsepe, when you have to sit there and be cool while your country makes the number 1 team in Africa look very ordinary.

This is the first time I am starting to think Broos is a crazy man- in a good way!
Absolutely crazy and amazing!
Well done to Bafana Bafana!

Cape Verde is worrying me, though.

Yeah, that is going to be a problem, I would have preferred any other team besides Cape Verde.

I gotta agree with you there, I wish it was another remaining team but Cape Verde.
Here's hoping for the "crazy" coach to go even crazier.

I remember this presenter I used to enjoy listening to- Cebo Manyapelo (RIP)

"Football has no therefore..."

How apt is that statement now?
