Broos was thinking about headbutting him and taking out that last remaining front tooth..I almost headbutted my phone.. that was annoying AF screaming and carrying on like a lunatic and talking kak, so embarrassing. Do people really care more that he picks Chiefs players than SA winning? So ridiculous too,

Mexico is where the proper football atmosphere and spirit will be at. Canada is cold and boring. And the US has ICEstapo now. Plus you can get some good stuff in Mexico. Roll up the OG bomb weed and relax your mind.

Keep the retarded leftist politics out of the sport threads. Nobody there to watch the soccer world cup is going to sneak in illegally. You can get your tourist visa or whatever and you'll be fine.
 
Unfortunately I missed the game life. The finishing still looked a bit sloppy but much better. Nice win we should be playing attacking soccer like this.

Soccer is still very young in the USA. We probably have more soccer culture and tradition than them. If not for immigrants, USA would be worse than us in soccer. Looking at their team, all of the better players including guys like Tim Weah and Christian Pulisic are the children of recent immigrants. Weah is the son of the former Liberian president.

They will probably have fuller stadiums and a more successful tournament than us. Part of the world cup is expanding the game.

I don't get where you are going with the immigrant angle, nobody cares.

The USA have a horrible history with sports. Somewhere in the early 1900's they were really bad losers and changed all the rules and made their own games that nobody else plays.

It would be a good thing to teach Americans about real sport again. Rugby, cricket, soccer... they are a great sporting nation and it is a shame that they have created their own fake sporting codes.

The Ausies did the same thing with rugby as a cope for losing. Now if they lose they can say but it is not their main sport they prefer their own shítty version that nobody else plays.

So many in the USA and Canada see soccer as THE global sport and they are actually ditching their old sports for soccer! Messi going to Miami opened their eyes! Beckham did that for LA in the 2010s. I'll say that Son is also having a big effect. In Canada, Muller is doing the same at the Vancouver Whitecaps, they are on an absolute tear!

MLS and USL are raising the bar in terms of exposure and quality of the local soccer talent in the US. The youth is intrigued, soccer is part of their sports programs now. They are building good talent there.

More and more you are seeing American YouTube channels pop up to discuss what's happening in the soccer world, Zealandism being probably the best one in my opinion.

Seeing Americans/other international viewers pop up in my feed wearing Bafana jerseys saying how great we played absolutely warms my heart!

It's their immigrant communities which brought soccer to life in their countries. Canada were worse than us for most of history in soccer but came up over the last 7 years or so, mainly because of players from immigrant communities like Alphonso Davies, Jonathan David etc coming through.

By FIFA rules, you don't need to be a citizen to play for the country, you can even play so long as you were just born in the country, or had a parent or grandparent born there.

Even Bafana Bafana played guys like Lars Veldwijk and Ricardo Nunes in the past who I doubt were SA citizens.

The fascinating thing about US is that they have always led the way by far in women's soccer, its only recently that the rest of the world is catching up with them there. I'd put that down to them promoting girls soccer from earlier times than everyone else did as they don't really seem to promote the traditional men's sports there among girls and unlike in the men's game, they don't really rely on immigrant communities for talent in women's soccer.
