The Bafana Bafana Thread

I watched the match. The second half was exciting and the results couldn't be sweet. This is history and hopefully the beginning of great things for Bafana Bafana.

We could have won with more than two goals, imagine how memorable it could be if we were to beat Nigeria with 5 goals, :D anyway still a win, a much needed one because Libya beat Sychelles by 5 goals to one.

Good start for Baxter.

Two loses to them is just beyond pathetic. They would be almost qualified if they won these two easy ones. Supposed to be easy anyways.
It's now a mathematical possibility of qualification. So it's not happening. Another miserable immensely disappointing effort. Sucks!

hopefully they dont start dancing mistakenly again when they think they have qualified....

I think I was watching channel 117. I probably didn't watch more than 10 mins of the game.
Pathetic display. We just do not have the players in SA to compete in any tournament.

Watching a spine chilling horror movie would have been more relaxing and therapeutic ;)

I see we will replay Senegal. So we basically have one point. Heads must roll.

Heads will roll and do keep rolling but it is always the wrong heads. The sport just isn't professional enough with the inept SAFA running things. The PSL brought in professionals but powerful mafia bosses are back in calling the shots. We can live with the PSL. It is at SAFA where an overhaul is needed so that development can take place from school on up.

Look at who sits with Safa, and you will see why. PSL club bosses should be nowhere near the Safa executive

Seems like it's only the referee's head that is rolling, I am very confused by FIFA, surely banning him for life means there was some bribery, did he bribe himself? or maybe whoever bribed promised him more to keep his mouth shut and in that case should we see people being arrested?

Probably betting syndicates, FIFA exonerated South Africa.
