I know, but I believe that he raises a valid point. If Ethiopia is punished, as others have been before, the match (against Botswana) is not erased, only the outcome is changed, so it will still count as a full international and thus the player will still have been capped by his country and thus his suspension would not have been served. And seeing as he featured in Ethiopia's very next game, he still hasn't served his ban. At least that is the way I understand it and how the ex-ref probably sees it too.
 
Can you imagine Ethiopia get docked 3pts and still go through? That would be some funny shyte.

We don't deserve to go Brazil. I hope this gives SAFA a wake-up call should we fail to go to Brazil.
 
We didn't deserve it when Pitso was in charge, but Iggy's doing a great job. Team's playing well. I reckon we do deserve it. I hate all the backdoor ****, but over the past few years we've had some really bad luck in big tournaments too. And if we make it to Brazil I will be kakhappy.

Igesund has done an amazing job with what he has to offer, but still don't think Bafana deserves to go thru. Maybe to the 3rd round yes, but I doubt they will beat the likes of Egypt, Ivory Coast, Nigeria.

So still won't make it to Brazil 2014. I believe that all we need is a proper finisher

There are no Pirates players due to CAF CL matches, and Chiefs may still withdraw their players. Bafana have a bye until the quarter-final, where they will play one of Namibia, Mauritius or the Seychelles on 13 July. There are currently no warm up friendlies scheduled.

Bafana have moved up from 60th to 59th in the new rankings. Some good news is that Bafana now have 2 friendlies for next month. They will play Nigeria on the 14th and Burkina Faso on the 17th.

Not the best, but a win is a win, 2-1 to Bafana. Jabulani
Shongwe and Hlompho Kekana each scored in the second half, before Bafana conceeded. Given the horrible preperation, it's a welcome result.

Zambia play Mozambique tomorrow, and we will face the winner.
 
Pity I couldn't watch it because of the *&%$@# SABC. They had the game scheduled on their site, and even advertised it. And then didn't show it. Bastards.
 
That sucks, but they will have a good reason why they didn't show it. Probably because their plane was held hostage in Lusaka, and not they they are liars who don't give a **** about the public.
 
Today bafana take on Zambia at 8pm. Coverage is on SS4 starting at 7.30pm, with nothing listed on SABC. Sadly, Bevan Fransman has withdrawn from the squad, due to "personal issues".
