Very good crowd in terms of numbers. Too bad Cape Town is not hosting any AFCON matches, those fans deserve some games given this support

I don't see this 'direct football' with 'flair' that Gordon likes talking about.

Bafana could have been 2-0 up at this stage. Katlego Mphela finds space well but god he is an awful finisher...

Mphela off for the second half. Good stuff. That's what I like about Igesund - he's a no-nonsense kinda guy...
 
This is the first time that BAFANA BAFANA has conceded a goal in the first half of the game under Gordon!
 
We should have at least 3 goals. Typical rubbish finishing. At least they creating chances i guess.
 
Poor finishing. We played better in the 2nd half, but it's all for nothing if we can't score. We had so much of the ball, but don't do enough with it. There is now huge pressure going into the Algeria match on Saturday. Well done to Cape Town, 34 000 attendance.
 
The best available apparently...terrible finishing. 1st round exit again? Surely not! Right?
 
Like somebody said, Mphela ran nicely into spaces. But his finishing was putrid. Serero made quite a difference, but our defence and finishing needs to improve big time.

We can at least make the 2nd round, Norway was playing the whole team behind the ball.
 
Well they did their name justice - played like boys (school boys)

Can't send a school boy team out against international competition.

Some of those guys are unfortunately just too small of stature.
 
Bafana last's friendly is tonight. They play Algeria at 20:30 at Orlando Stadium. The game will be broadcast on SS4 SSHD4 and SABC 1. Hoping that GI will play his team properly and that we see a win. The tournament really needs the host momentum.
