Made it. Nothing like pasta, more alike halloumi. But quite lekker.

Aww... I already have plenty of halloumi in the fridge, may as well just eat it and save all the effort.

In other news, going to try making turnip fries later/tomorrow...

Curious question:

I was watching a documentary last night about the Adkins diet (LCHF) diet vs normal low calories diets.

Science had a look at it and did all kinds of tests and it was established that the Protein in the LCHF diet makes people eat less even though they can eat as much as they can. They also stay fuller for longer. This all due to the protein.

This got me thinking. Why not just go on a Protein shake diet then? I have no idea about these diets and shyte. The documentary just planted this seed .

"Science had a look at it" :D

Afaik it's due to the fat, not the protein. Fats full you up quicker, and keep you full for longer.

But there is evidence that shows extra high levels of protein intake can damage kidneys. That and the fact that high protein intake can activate an insulin response after it is converted to glucose...

Stick with medium protein, high fat.
