What, you blended the cauliflower, added 2 eggs and rolled it out?

Grated. Put in bowl. Microwave for 4 minutes. Ring out water through dishcloth. Put in mixing bowl. Add 1 egg. Mozzarella cheese. Salt and pepper. And some crushed garlic. Then pressed flat on baking paper in a baking tray. Oven full blast until it looks like this, minus the tomato paste.

14g carbs / 100g in apples. 1.5 apples is half your daily carb allowance.
That's not quite what I had in mind for daily fruit intake.

Page 48 of the RMR book says 1.5 apples are your carb allowance for the day!

How are you guys Doug on the micro nutrients front, I can't seem to get enough fibre without blowing my carb allowance - any suggestions ?

every couple days I'll have a bran and berry smoothie, seems to do the trick and on the plus side, it makes for a filling brekkie
 
I need some ideas this morning. Running late and no time for breakfast. Something i can grab as a to go? Or something maybe from the shops I can quickly run in and get?

Your carb allowance should be glycemic carbs. Non glycemic carbs don't accumulate to your allowance- so taking fibre supplements or even eating something cruciate vegetables should help.

Spur also has a no Carb brekkie.
3 eggs, 3 rashers of bacon and a boerewors or 2 pork sausages.

2 teaspoon Psylium huskin a glass of water on an empty stomach, every second day or so, does the trick for me.

Subtract the fibre from the total amount of carbs to get your actual carb amount for that meal.
 
Was at Cold Gold in Stellenbosch on Saturday. Bought 2 litres of amazing Chocolate ice cream. It ia not cheap but worth every cent in my books. MyBB user janinki is the owner and can be very proud of the product!

Next I need a Cape Town banting pizza. Any suggestions in the city bowl / Seapoint / Greenpoint area?
